MEDIEVAL BUCKLE
An incomplete Medieval copper alloy buckle, dating 13th-14th century. The buckle is D-shaped with a thick rounded frame and narrow bar for the pin, but the pin is no longer present. The frame tapers towards the axial bar with slightly squared shoulders on the internal edge where the frame meets the bar. The object has a mid-dark brown pattination and traces of light green discolouration in patches…
