MEDIEVAL STRAP END
14th century cast,copper alloy strap end. Cast in one piece, this strap end is subrectangular in plan and tapers to a rounded point.It is semicircular in section. It is 46mm long, 5mm thick and weighs 7.5g. The top of the strap end is splayed for fixing to a leather strap and two partial rivet holes are visible.
