MEDIEVAL HARNESS MOUNT
Medieval cast copper alloy shield shaped mount with integrally cast rivet on the reverse. The nount has a simple cross throughout (arms of the cross extend to the edge of the mount) which is recessed, and contains some possible traces of red enamel.
