MESOLITHIC BLADE
A Mesolithic flint blade, dating 7000 - 4000 BC. The blade is sub rectangular and trapezoidal in cross section. The flint has a mottled light-dark blue and white patina. There is evidence of retouch along the longest edges on the dorsal side. A bulb of percussion is present though striking platform appears to have broken away.
