ROMAN STUD
Cast copper alloy pyramidal stud or mount. The head is triangular in profile and circular in plan. There are five regularly spaced grooves extending from the apex of the mount to the baseA large, corroded iron shank projects from the underside. The head is 17.19mm long and 15.26mm in diameter. It has a total length of 40.95mm and weighs 22.64 grams.
