EARLY MEDIEVAL BROOCH
Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) cast copper alloy small-long brooch. The brooch is incomplete. It is comprised of a lozengeform headplate with one integrally cast pin lug on the reverse. The bow is curved with a shallow 'D' shaped cross section. There is a worn break across the bow, with the foot and catchplate missing. There is no visible decoration on the brooch.
