UNKNOWN SPINDLE WHORL
A lead loomweight of uncertain date, probably from Roman to post medieval in date. The object is circular in plan with a central circular hole and a D-shaped profile. The object is undecorated however there is a small linear incision on one face, probably due to post-depositional activity. The object has a consistent grey/brown patina.
