EARLY MEDIEVAL KEY (LOCKING)
A complete copper alloy key. A slide key. The bow is circular with two knops on the outer edge. Below the bow at the start of the stem are two small angled knops, one at either side. The stem is hexagonally facted. At the end nearest the bit is a transverse collar and a round-ended moulding, (possibly a devolved zoomorphic decoration.
