POST MEDIEVAL PIPE TAMPER
A postmedieval cast copper alloy pipe tamper, probably of 19th century date. The tamper has a circular base (11mm diameter). The main body is cast in the form of a male figure wearing trousers and a jacket with a neckerchief and hat, possibly representing a farm labourer.
