MEDIEVAL COIN
A Medieval silver hammered voided long cross penny, dating from c. AD 1247 - 1272. The coin is probably a penny of Henry III (AD 1216 - 1272). Obverse: crowned forward facing bust with sceptre Legend: HE [,,,]. Reverse: voided long cross dividing legend; three pellets in each angle. The coin is worn and has been clipped.
