POST MEDIEVAL BUTTON
A Post Medieval copper-alloy 'Tombac' button of 18th century date. The button is circular in plan. The front face is flat and is decorated with a rose at the centre surrounded by five open triangles pointing outwards. The back of the button is slightly convex and there are traces of an integral attachment loop visible, though this is now mainly broken away. The button measures 25.5mm in diameter. …
