MEDIEVAL KEY (LOCKING)
A medieval to postmedieval iron key. The key is very large (overall length 170mm), and was probably used as a door key. The oval bow (length 45mm), circular sectioned shank and bit are al intact. The key was found very close to an old farmhouse, so it may have been one of the original keys for the house.
