MEDIEVAL CLASP
Medieval strap clasp of copper alloy, dated to c1300-1450. It Clasp has a sub-rectangular frame, the top and bottom edges outcurved and the bar of circular cross-section. The clasp has a double plate with a single rivet in the centre at the end. The frame has a small, rotating ('folding') sheet-metal end wrapped around the outer edge.
