Two brothers : Edouard and Marcel Pondaven
Marcel Pondaven was a rifleman, born June 25, 1893. He died during the Battle of the Marne at Lenharrée on September 7 or 9, 1914. His body rests in the Fère-Champenoise ossuary. It is part of the 19th Infantry Regiment. In civilian life, he would take over his father's transport business in Brest. Edouard Pondaven was a licensed gunner aboard the ship Le Bouvet in Toulon.
