Only son of Robert and Ellen Brown, born 1896 in Malahide Co Dublin. Joined the Navy in August 1914 in Belfast. Gunner on HMS Defence out of Portsmouth. May have seen action in Galipoli.
Killed in action 31st May 1916 in the Battle of Jutland. His vessel was one of the first casualties of the battle. 903 sailors perished on…
