Alice 'Maynie' Mary Bagshaw was a Red Cross Voluntary Aid nurse at Ripon, then Calderstones, Military Hospitals. Her brother, Arthur Walmsley Bagshaw, was conscripted into either the Fusileers or Bombadiers, near the end of the war & probably didn't see action.
