François Trillot, from the territorial to the aerostation
François Trillot, born May 21, 1872 in La Cornuaille (Maine-et-Loire) was one of the "old" classes that could be mobilized when the Great War broke out in August 1914. He was mobilized in the 71st Territorial Infantry Regiment of Angers on 10 December 1914. The regiment was stationed near Paris in 1914, then stayed from 1915 to 1917 in the Somme, Oise and Verdun where it recorded numerous losses. …
