Farmer, son of Pierre JOUVE and Jeanne VIDAL. Recruited in Aurillac (department of Cantal, France), class 1891, registration number 1488. Incorporated into the 4th regiment of Zouaves on 16/11/1892. Sent on furlough 10/30/1895. Mobilized on 22/11/1914 in the 100th territorial infantry regiment. Killed by the enemy in front of Bully-Grenay station (Pas-de-Calais department, France) on 10/11/1915.
