Louis Klingelschmidt (January 10, 1876 in Saint-Amarin-June 4, 1964 in Ingersheim) began working in 1891 as a worker in the laundry. Moved away during the Evacuation from Alsace in September 1914, to Annonay, with more than 300 other men from Saint-Amarin, he returned to the village in May 1915.
