Surface pattern (waritsuke monyō 割付文様), actor pattern (yakusha monyō 役者文様)/nature pattern (shizen monyō 自然文様), stripe pattern (shima monyō 縞文様): kanzemizu 観世水
Motiv gefärbt (jishiro 地白). Passermarken (hoshi 星). Kanzemizu-mon 観世水文, ursprünglich ein Familienwappen der Nō-Dynastie Kanze 観世, stellt ein Wasserstrudel dar. Der Auftritt des Kabuki-Schauspielers Gen’nosuke 源之助, des späteren Sawamura Sōjūrō IV. 四代目沢村宗十郎 (1784-1813), als Komamono Yashichi im Gewand mit kanzemizu-Muster führte dazu, dass das Motiv in Mode kam.
