Nature pattern (shizen monyō 自然文様), surface pattern (waritsuke monyō 割付文様), stripe pattern (shima monyō 縞文様): irregular stripes (yōrōjima 養老縞) and net-like pattern of seigaiha 青海波 (blue ocean waves) and fundō 分銅 (weight)
Motiv gefärbt (jishiro 地白). Passermarken (hoshi 星). Yōrōjima 養老縞 wird auch yorokejima よろけ縞 (= "taumelnde" Streifen) bezeichnet.
