Komon 小紋. Plant pattern (shokubutsu monyō 植物文様): chrysanthemums
Untergrund gefärbt (jizomari 地染). Passermarken (hoshi 星). Färbeschablonen für komon 小紋 („feines Muster“) werden meistens im Drillschnittverfahren (kiribori 錐彫) hergestellt. Komon ist meistens nicht nach einer spezifischen Richtung hin ausgerichtet und ist so fein, dass es aus der Entfernung monochrom erscheint.
