Pandanus tectorius Parkinson
Tree about 6 - 10 m., raised on short thick prop-roots and with well branched crown; stem and branches armed with stout prickles; leaves = glaucous above and below; fruithead green, subglobose, very obscurely 3-angled, about 20 x 18 cm.
