Caesalpinia fimbriata Tul.
Large shrub or small treelet 1.5 - 3 m in ht. Multi-stemmed from base and upright in habit. Bark smooth, the young stems greenish-brown turning grey-brown on older wood and slightly lustrous. Young shoots tinged maroon. Foliaceous stipules strongly tinged
