This porcellanite axehead (L 9.1 x W 6.8cm) has a total thickness of 2.1cm and weighs 177g. It has a narrow oval cross-section and convex edge shape. Its blade is asymmetrical. The blade, sides, butt and faces are ground. The sides are only partly ground with numerous flake scars. The edges are sharp and undamaged but both faces are damaged by post manufacture flake scars.
