Fungal hyphae in the eye - TEM
Transmission electron micrograph showing fungal hyphae in the anterior chamber of the eye (lower left of picture). Descemet's membrane is in the centre of the picture and behind this is the posterior stroma with a heavy infiltration of polymorphonuclear leucocytes. The fungal hyphae are approximately 1.2nm in diameter.
