Fortifications at Voion
Polygonal fortification wall at the site Agios Athanasios of Mariolata. The fortifications wer protecting the city of Doris Voion, one of the cities of the Doric Tetrapolis (the other three were Cytinion, Erineos and Akyphas-Pindos). Voion was the only one of the four cities still mentione in 6th century sources (Hierocles).
