Fighter jet crashes in residential area of Eindhoven

A Lockheed T-33 fighter jet from the Royal Netherlands Air Force crashed into houses on Zeelsterstraat and Bergen op Zoomstraat in the Strijp district of Eindhoven. The pilot, who lived in the Bergen op Zoomstraat, died in the accident, as did a civilian who was cleaning his moped. 18 other people were injured, 9 of whom were hospitalized, seven houses were totally destroyed and eight others were …
