Loincloth of a Quetzal dancer
Dance costume of a Quetzal dancer consisting of:- a triangular cape, which has been pulled out to fringe at the bottom. The material is green artificial silk of commercial origin and it is machine stitched. The cape is worn by the dancer of the Dance of the Quetzals, as performed by the Nahuas (Aztecs) in the Sierra de Puebla. On his head he wears a large round headdress (see serial no.: 4436-262)…
